Well he did break through, just without any kind of support and without capturing the sultan. Classic European mistake of gambling everything on an "awesome and cool" (Kings words) cavalry charge and have nothing to follow it through.

TheArmored Halberdiers ( 15th century, "armati" in the Hungarian "Black Army" / hun. "Fekete sereg")looks amazing, but i cant help but notice, it looks like the chainmail texture is having some wierd distortion and stretch around the crotch, no?
That is correct. The reason being that unlike the real life texture that can be stretched or folded, virtual texture can`t. This is a game, so models and textures don`t behave like in real life you will see stretched texture in every game, some more accentuated, some less.
Still hoping that the spaulders get fixed, but everything looks good regardless.
Just for an armor inspiration for a Hungarian officer here is the effigy of the Hungarian knight banneret, ban of Severin, "the valiant of the valiant", John Hunyadi(not that one, his little brother), showing a quadruple arc breastplate design;

He also has a cape.
I´m loving what i´m seeing here so far. As a being hungarian historically interested person i need to say i´m very pleased with the historical accuracy and details (fekete sereg, Mátyás Király etc.). Keep up the good work i will love to play this. For the earlier era, if not already added, horseback archers could be awesome, i will try to provide some pictures on weapons and equipment.
Just to throw in an idea for shields, since these have been really distinctive for hungarian cavalry of 14th and 15th century.

Excellent work! The historically diverse late medieval Hungarian armies are taking shape nicely in the mod
Was playing as Hungary earlier but it's not very "Black". Everyone's plate armor looks same as the rest.

For the sake of historical accuracy I would recommend renaming the faction Kingdom of Hungary and Croatia to show the multiethnic and federal nature of the union and including the other autonomous federal states that the monarchy comprised.
uralic ugric language group: Khanty, Magyars, Mansi, same language and same looking also Szekely and Cumans looking same.
