Showing the Year

Anybody know how to make the game show the year instead of the turn?

I know it seems like a reasonable gameplay alteration, but I really prefer to see the year, I don't really CARE how many turn's I've played for, I am much more interested in when things are going to happen and what particular period of history I am supposed to be in.

Go into data\world\maps\camapign\imperial_campaign folder. Then right click on the descr_strat.txt file, go to properties and untick the read-only box. Then open descr_strat and remove this line:

show_date_as_turns

You can also put a semi-colon ";" in front of the line show_date_as_turns.
