how I can create new region?

How I can create new region to MTW2? I tried to did like in RTW, but then the game has an error.

You cannot add a new region to the M2Tw map yet, as many text files are packed, in particular the data\text files that relate to province names.

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure that my txt files are all unpacked in I:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\data\world where you can edit the campaign map, the descr_regions file, the Campaign_Script, Descr_Events, Descr_Mercenaries, Descr_Regions_And_settlement_Name_Lookup, Descr_Strat, Descr_Win_Conditions etc...

Though yes, till now, my mini mod to add a province hasn't worked because every time I try to start a new game with the new province in, it just throws me back to the main menu...

Well, adding regions seems to be pretty much identical to RTW, you can edit many files needed to add regions, however, you need to add the name of the town and province in a text file, which is packed at the moment, so you cannot sucsessfully add new regions until one can edit all the packed files.

Aparently there are an unpack tool available (M2TW unpack tool).

Anyone knows which file is the .pack about provinces in the folder called packs?

The tool seems bugged, I tried using it but 1. sometimes it crashes and 2. it doesn't seem to unpack every file.
