Marvelous!

Look at that. I love the details.
My favorite unit is just the standard medium/light cavalry. Nothing fancy, just light reliable stuff, but also packs a punch. Jack, partially plated, iron hat and a spear&shield combo.

Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga- The pranks played on the knight Jean de Joinville, 1249, 7th crusade.I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

Great work of course, but the these eagles on the caparisons look to modern.
- My lord. It's Garret again, he's having a moment.
- Sigh.

Wow! Teutonic Order looks like it will be extraordinarily fun to play! Great work
Will anything other high-late era updates be coming soon?
Yes, mostly of German origin, but there were also many guests. You guys can actually add a unit like this, "Guest Knights", they weren't a part of Order like Halbbruders or others, to be honest, MOST of Teutonic forces was not made of Order Brothers
Even better idea, you can make those "Guest Knights" a factional merc unit with low replenishement, that way playing as Teutonic Order you will have a chance to recruit good cavalry unit for descent price once in like 15-20 turns (on par with regular cavalry, maybe even a little smaller), that will have a mixed look of both German, French and English knights.
Also fun fact about Teutonic Order and their own feudal system, even if you were of noble origin and you were given a land in Teutonic holdings, you could still have it all taken away if you would not be able to provide enough troops for campaign (it was specifed how many troops of what type and I think even how equiped they should be).

German stylish zealots V1.
How come the late era grandmaster unit dont have bardring on their horses though?
So does the update means that the "winged and horned" helmets are gone?
Because what i loved about the early version (in rome2 for example) that it was like an updated version of medieval 2, but the new models, while are very detailed indeed, they feel more "generic".
(sorry for replying but haven't found a way to edit my post)
So willt here be a way to keep this
Instead of this?
No, because those types of helmets were not in use any longer in the 15th century. So no horned helmets for the 2nd and 3rd tier units, unfortunately.
Yes, helmet decorations went more towards fabric and feathers;

I really like the Teutonic units, and I can't wait to use them. Easily my favorite faction and campaign in Medieval II. Can't wait to burn heretics and slaughter pagans.
Also, I always read that the horned/winged helmets were more ornamental - and not used in combat. Whatever the case, I think we can all agree they look really awesome, and no one does it better than the Teutonic Knights!
People wear crests and ornaments into battle during the Medieval ages, so that enemies can know not to kill them. By wearing something of noble status, a person can hope to be ransomed rather than slain.
...or they can be dragged down by them by peasant infantry and butchered. Either way good job on the detail of the units.
So I am a little saddened by this, are you not going to add in dismounted Rittbrutter,or is that unnecessary since all cavalry can dismount?
