    Religion.
    Each country receives a trait of religion with their bonuses.
    Additional bonuses of religion:
    - Reducing the cost of stability by 20% (Orthodox)
    - Reducing the cost of training troops by gentlemen by 50% (Islam)


    Each country has a record of religious influence, which depends on the number and levels of religious buildings and buildings of happiness.
    The impact of the country will spread to neighboring regions in other countries. Such an effect is defined as the difference between the performance of the religious influence of the two countries.
    Therefore advantageous to have a big religious influence for protection from religions of neighboring countries, and to spread your faith in other countries.
    Ways to increase religious influence:
    - Construction of buildings
    - Strengthening of religion with the help of events
    - Acceptance of religious doctrines


    Culture.
    Each country gets culture points of cultural buildings, as well as events. These points are then used for the adoption of doctrines. The country can take 3 doctrine.
    In total there are 6 doctrines:
    - military
    - economic
    - navy
    - scientific
    - social
    - religious


    Enlightenment.
    Country after a certain year and in the presence of an educational building, receive Enlightenment trait.

    Still no sign of doctrines, despite that I have enough points... but now I get some info in event window about neighbouring countries influence.

    New campaign started(Sweden).

    Year 1710 -> culture points: 170/50 -> NO doctrines.

    What are the conditions to get naval doctrine?

    Any chance to enable slave trade for protectorates in America?

    Found small bug: trait C_event_Anti_RegPen has no effects and no localization.

    Hm, weird and it is gone after turn or two. But shouldn't anti_RegPen trait apply some bonuses(maybe +2 to happines) to faction, who succssesfuly nationalizes all her anexed regions.

    And another question. Is it normal that the Ottoman leader has catholichism in his traits? I quess he had been influenced from neighburing catholic faction.

    It's just a technical trait.
    Does his capital have a catholicism as the main religion?

    I'd like to congratulate you for this mod !
    I'm quite sad to not have looked at it earlier, for I've really missed a lot. The EU4 inspired features truly add more depth to diplomacy, the meaningless lunatic political leaders seem all of a sudden more reasonnable.

    I will test your mod alongside the OTO mod that I've worked on ; for I am utterly fond of the gameplay features of EU4, hence of many of your mods too !

    Could I ; if there is no compatibility issues ; include it as an optional easy-to-install part in the download ?
    All this while giving you (as well as authors of WALI ; APE:TI) full credits indeed ; alongside a direct link to this page.

    I've actually found an issue. I'm unable to use the WALI launcher for some reason, giving me an error, related to attempting to launch a steam game from outside of steam.
    Still, most of the mod, except for attrition seems to work.

    1 Copy/paste all files into the ETW folder.
    2 Place user.empire_script to C:\Documents and Settings\(Your User Name Here)\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts... or C:\Users\(Your User Name Here)\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts\...
    3 If you use ManpowerScript you need to place game's difficulty level in scripting.lua(find CurDif parameter).
    4 Run VDM_Start.bat.


    1- Done
    2 - Done
    3 - CurDif=4
    4 - Done

    I had written the previous answer innacurately, since I wansn't on my game computer, all those steps were done.
    Double-checked ; and still get the same result ;

    If you have more then Win7, then try to run VDM with Win7 compability.
    Also if you have Steam then try to run with Launcher_ETW.exe in the WALI folder.
