Hi everyone this is an overhaul for the geats
What this does?
This is and overhaul for geats, adding, changing, units, stats, skins, etc. Also color uniforms for danes, geats, saxons, and jutes. Consider it a Closed Beta, I would like that u recomend me, tell me, what u thing, what u feel, what u consider or see wrong
Weapons
Changes some weapons values axes get more ap damage, swords, spathas and heavy spathas gets and a little ap damage bonus versus infantry, new doble axe that has almost the same damage that dane axe, deadly spear, just for a few units.
New general units
(2 for each tier)
Warlord Axe (agresive infantry with frenzy ability), Warlord Nobles (defensive sword infantry with shieldwall)
Jarl Marauders(agresive axe infantry), Jarl Shieldwall (defensive spear infantry)
Konungr Ravagers (agresive axe infantry) Konungr Ulfserkers (agresive spear infantry with berserker atribute, deadly spear)
New Officers and Standard Bearer, More bears and hair
Units
More health than other faction units and scale
Generals have more stats than their tier units
Each unit require certain upgrade or buiding
Weaker to ranged
Shield used, no shield, small round shield, round shield and long round shield
No heavy infantry, from light to medium, no mail armor
Spear Infantry
Thrall spears are weak and cheap no ability (skirmishers and thrall spears are recruitable for every nord faction in every captured settlement)
Thrall spearmen are ereased
Levy and nordic levy (now has phalanx formation, upgradable to spearmen)
Spearmen (phalanx formation, upgradable to elite)
Elite spearmen (phalanx formation/headhunt)
Ulfserkers (phalanx formation/frenzy, deadly spear)
Sword Infantry
Companions (no abilities, upgrades to nobles)
Nobles (shieldwall, upgrades to armored nobles)
Armored nobles (shieldwall/headhunt, heavy spatha, upgrades to housecarls)
Housecarls (shieldwall/headhunt, heavy spatha)
Axe Infantry
Axe Levy (no abilities,axe and shield, upgrades to woodcutters)
Woodcutters (no abilites, dane axe, upgrades to axe warband)
Axe Warband (shieldwall, shield and axe, upgrades to axe warriors)
Axe Warriors (Rapid advance, dane axe)
Berserkers (frenzy, berserker, rapid advance, doble axe weapon, upgrades to enraged berserkers)
Enraged Berserkers (frenzy, berserker, rapid advance, doble axe weapon)
Missile infantry
Bows (no abilities, upgradable to archers)
Archers (presition shot, upgradable to longbows, axe equiped, average at mele)
Longbows (presition shot, quick reload, axe equiped, average at mele)
Thrall skirmishers (no abilities)
Nordic skirmishers (presition shot)
Druids (presition shot, quick reload, upgradable to elder druids)
Elder Druids (presition shot, quick reload, chant)
Cav
Almost the same for now
Shock cav
Valkyries (high charge, good defense and ofence, the only heavy reworked/created unit)
Druids, berserkers, ulfserkers and valkyries require germanic pagan religion
Future plans
Unit new cards
Like CA did with empire of the sands dlc, Im planing on creating units that u have if u are pagan or if you are christian
New Geats crow flag, Ragnar and Beowulf were from here so....
For Saxons already have a faction leader but im planing have a English christian saxon unit tree and flag
Jutes a more barbaric look thing (took out huscarls from them, plan for new unique units shared with anglos and saxons)
Danes took huscarls inn (will rework them), new units that reflex the conquering power of Viking Danmark, the use of mail, etc, also a liltle play with pagan and christian unit tree. New flag of dragon
Continue reworking stats to balance this
Generals skins and that stuff
Geat Advisor, Saxon Advisor, Dane Advisor, Jute Advisor
Maybe agents re-skins (if posible)
Things u need to know
Currently there are no new unit cards
Warlord still recutable for geats, for spanish version no text on created units (like mine )
Text for units is the same from the based units
Geat faction leader, saxon, jute and dane (is almost the same to original and if he dies, the other ones take the original skin)
At the begining of the campaign u appear with the normal units, and normal general units
They now maybe overpower buahahah
