How did you take the town that I was besieging it? And we are still ally?

Also, my army took damage, but I didn't get a victory or defeat when I look for it.

Yes we are still allies. I used a terrible exploit but there are no rules so its allowed, Ill explain what I did when the hotseat is finished. I wont be able to pull anything like that again unless another settlement rebels.

I think I figured out how you did it... You used with a small force so that the rebels sallied out to attack you, my army assisted and defeated the rebel, but you entered the town...

I knew there must be something underneath the alliance proposal...

Yes. The A.I. didn't understand that your army would support mine because they weren't next to each other, and in a field battle your men wouldn't have helped unless one of us was attacking. I got lucky by losing no men. This is the best argument for hotseat rules I've ever seen.

I was actually making a joke when I offered the alliance but you accepted so after scouting and exploring my options I made what I think is the best out of a situation.
