I had to restart my campaign. My army integrity was so low i could barley keep one army alive. Other wise Id have several civil wars. I was fighting against everyone. I kept trying to adopt people so increase my power but i used it so much I had 0 gravitas. Now I cant adopt John. What happened? Why is it so hard now?

Yes thank you I saw that during prerelease. That does nothelo when it doesn't work. I try to adopt people or gather support but it does not work

I would assume you played as Roman expeditionary force. The Romans have quite a lot of dilemmas which could result in hefty integrity penalty for extended period of time. There are many ways to balance this: encampment, via buildings, low tax etc. but the fastest way IMHO is to win battles. You get like +10 integrity bonus for each won battle. And if nothing works, decimation is our last resort. Don't hesitate to use it.
