Vote for my first AAR

As final release nears, I'm getting a bit more time to do what I've always wanted to do for the last iteration of FATW: write up faction guides and AARs.

In the interest of giving our totalitarian regime a thin veneer of democracy, I thought I would put it to the community: for which faction would you most like to see a detailed, well-written, informative, and entertaining AAR, written by one of the dev team?

You may note that Harondor is not on the list; that's because I just finished a Harondor campaign and am currently at work putting together a guide for that difficult faction

Voted for Khand. I came here and was about to vote for something entirelly different but then I have seen quite large support for Khand so I jave stopped to think what those people may see on Khand perspective aar and then I got it and got hooked

too bad no one else seems to like Adûnabâr, it would make for a really interesting AAR where different characters migh or might not follow the cult, Herumor influensing the court, a counterpart of Tar Palantír might rise to become the king of Adûnabâr and try to redeem the country by making peace with their enemies, replace cultic temples with dúnedanic ones etc. The struggles with the Reunited Kingdom as a whole would be interesting when you will fight kin and family in a civil war that beats all others. How the cult decides to bring forth the Dominion of Men by force and capure non-human settlements and expell (or kill) their inhabitants. As a whole Adûnabaâr makes for a very human evil, which makes them so interesting.


And after this I hope that more people will vote for the faction...

I'd love to see someone resolve that tie between Dale and Khand.... otherwise I'll have to flip a coin or ask my wife (the "electoral college" of the poll, if you will).

Khand it is! I'm really interested to see how this will all turn out. I'll get started today and post any entries in a separate thread here in the public forums.

My AAR style will likely not be "novelistic"; that is, I won't be focusing on character development or weaving an elaborate narrative. I like to give a clear account of the experience of gameplay, although there will be some flourishes here and there.
