This is what happened in a game my friend Daeshi was playing.....that awkward moment when you see this happen, which one is the real confederation?

Nervii was at war with Frisii, later on Cimbri formed the German Confederation with Frisii. Nervii eventually destroyed them, then Cherusci forms a new German Confederation with Macromanni and goes to war with Nervii, Then later Suebi goes to war with Nervii as well and liberates Cimbri aka the original German Confederation....so now there is 2 of them.

The weirder thing is how the player has conquered 40+ regions in 15 turns.

How can you tell the number of turns though? i thought the only way to check was by saving/loading a game? unless i have overlooked it

EDIT: Hey! It's also summer of 255BC. Every campaign I've started* has always been in summer 272BC. Does it ever start in a different season? If not then it ought to be summer of 256BC, or autumn of 255BC. What's up with that?

Well both of us do play with DeI the 4 turns per year one so maybe that's it? and for me it always starts in spring.

I can't remember how many turns in she was at that point but i'm pretty sure she was only 50 turns or less into the campaign but still took over all that land.....because the Seleucids are just that good XD

I just checked then, yeah it does start in 272BC and using DeI it's 4 turns per year so 272BC to 271BC is 4 turns.....if i did the math correctly in my head just then (and on a calculator XD ) that game is 60 turns in i believe.

Ah, so it's a different thing then. It also looks like the Seleucid setup is different in this mode because Bactria is shown as a satrapy under them.

That's only because Baktria got owned and forced to become a satrapy, apparently they were getting owned by Massagetae as well as Drangiana and Persia, then after subduing Baktria she turned on Persia and later Drangiana, leaving only Baktria and Sagartia as satrapies. It's hard to see but that 2nd image you can see a little bit of blue on the right side of the map in the middle of all that green. That's all that's left of Baktria just one settlement XD
