CTD When Clicking on factions on freeroam

I have noticed this for a while now, but when ever I click on a faction to see their leader, backstory, and unique traits, it crashes with no error after I click on the factions after certain amount of times.

This is actually a problem with Medieval 2 itself, and there technically is a fix for it. The fix involves getting rid of the images that show the faction and it's leader though. If you don't care about the images on the selection screen go to the following location:

Hyrule\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign

and delete any file that begins with map_ (such as map_hylian, map_gerudo, etc)

This should let you switch between as many factions as you want without a crash.
