    Default 1 turn = 3 months?

Can u make it so that each turn is 3 months (a season)? I dislike the 1 turn= 6months and think the 4 turns=1 year would be more to my liking. Thanks!

Maybe it would be a 0.25 timescale??

Keep in mind that a game with turn = 3 months would take forever! With timescale 1.0 the game has 500 rounds. With timescale 0.5 it takes 1000 rounds until the end.

Plus events are triggered by date, not by turn.

Nope, out of the box the game is 1 turn = 2 years (24 months)

I think 1 turn = 6 months is perfect, Reason? because of the amount of land they(generals or family members) cover in a single turn is about accurate of a marching army.

Is that a joke? This is one of my major problems with this game. How long do you think it takes to march an army? In its current state at .5 timescale it takes at least 5 years to get from England to the Middle East. RIDICULOUS.

Also, it takes a year and a half to two years to go from Northern to Southern England! Tell that to Harold Godwinson!

That's how long it takes you? then your not playing the same game, I don't make that time even with a crusading army.

It takes at least 2 turns to go from Edinburgh to London. That's 1 year, which is ridiculous.

I will take a screenshot of the path to and from the Holy land with the color coded unit trail. Count the colors and you'll see it is several years.

The AI treats it as .5? You mean the game engine right?

I keep my scale at 0.5 because then the engine's Spring/Winter rotation actually makes sense. Leaving it in after switching to two years was just laziness(albiet helpful for those who dislike 1 turn = 2 years)

to arrange correctly the troop movement with the time/turn you can change also the movement_points....
