    The Mod DB page has now been updated with obsolete material removed and the *same* mod version available here no available at Mod DB for the first time. I recommend you all to subscribe there because news updates will be forthcoming in the next few weeks.

    Does the Kingdom of Armenia start with Armenia now? Oh, and I like the missing borders within the Muslim factions (in the mini-map), especially the Almoravid territory looks very smooth.

    I'm glad you like the mini-map -it's still just a placeholder really, the borders are a mess and the faction colours are not helpful. It will change.

    Not sure I understand what you mean with Armenia, it starts off as a principality in Cilicia and Antioch. There will be later Catholic Cypriot units available to the faction too.

    I mean that according to the minimap the province of Armenia is owned by the Armenian faction.

    Any news about the AI's usage of forts?
    How immersive are they, really?

    Ok, let me rephrase that;

    How often does the AI besiege enemy forts and does it maintain garrisons and defends their own?

    In Stainless Steel the AI began doing this after I reduced the cost of forts to 0 and modified the game to a later date.

    For some reason, post 1350/1400 AI just loves using forts.

    This version is a very early one. I don't think it is the right time to give answers concerning AI behaviour. A question to the moddb-link: Do I have to overwrite the DotS folder (the old alpha version) with the files from the link?

    I know it is an early version, I was just asking if there was any news on that front

    The mod is amazing but the balance in horrendous.

    Nearly all the archers need to be nerfed, Holy Christ.

    Reduce their ranges and missile attacks, no missile attack from archery should exceed 5-6.

    Seriously, 10 missile attack for the white company, 14 for alan horse archers/khwarezmian cav(both of which should historically have light draw weight bows)?!

    When overwriting the pre-alpha version from last year with that 202mb patch from moddb, the map crashes to desktop. Custom battles work fine. I can even take a look at some of Bohemian units.

    Of course, the is just a really early version of the mod. Stats aren't properly implemented- that's something we hope to remedy in the next release.

    I'm sorry you are experiencing CTDs did you try a fresh install and running the game twice?

    Yes, I did a fresh install but I can try again.
    1st EDIT: So far only the Persian faction works.
    2nd EDIT: All non-Christian factions work. I like how extended the Moorish faction is.
    3rd EDIT: Some of the Christian factions work, some don't. I must have chosen the disfunctional ones first (e.g. England, HRE, Armenia, Byzantine Empire, Bohemia,...)

    I only downloaded the files from the "RELEASED" thread and overwrote them with the files from moddb (see opening post).
    EDIT: (I don't want to double post) What is the DotS team working on right now/ what kind of updates can we expect in the future?
