Morning Sun 2.8 is the updated version of 1.0.
Did you unpack 2.8 from the zip file?

I have been enjoying playing this mod! Though its not complete yet, I am sure its gotten potentials.
I wish I could be any help of making this mod, yet, my knowledge towards computers is bland.
So I'd like to know if you take donations! Please let me know and please keep up the good work!

i will donations too
Im back, I figured out why it didnt work before. I just had to change the compatibility because Windows 10 is garbage. Although I got the mod working, now everything is just under water. Solutions?

I put ming.pack, ming_units.pack and ming_map_extra.pack all in the data folder and selected them through mod manager when it start up so yea
Uanime5 dude, im sorry to spread the message all over the morning sun forum, but that trade node bug is making peoples campaigns unplayable. I abandoned a campaign once i saw it, and am now hesitant to start another one until the issue has been resolved. Its Just a shame, as the game is otherwise near perfect, to be so taken hostage by a single small bug is sad
Anyway im only posting this, since your other post in the bug thread is maybe a month or two old, i wasnt sure if you was active that often until i saw this post off you from yesterday.
There is more info in the DM i sent you, and in the bug thread of Morning Sun. I Will be glad to see the back of this as i am dying to start a campaign again ^^.
Thanks, man, in your own time. I just wanted to guarantee that you seen this.
Regards, Fishbong.
UANIME5 DUDE, i think DM messages are giving me , so im replying to your DM HERE. My apologies.
Hi man, i just typed out this whole message and then twcentre logged me out, losing the 20 minute long detailed spec message i had written out. Fml.
Anyway, i have Opened the ming.pack file in PFM, and to get straight to the point, i cannot implement your fix, as i cannot 1) Find the pathway "db/unit_stats_naval"... there are only 3 Naval pathways that i can see and they are ("db/unit_stats_naval_crew_tables", "db/unit_stats_naval_crew_to_ship_categories_tables" AND "db/unit_stats_naval_tables")
I have tried to access the closest one of these to the path you specified (*unit_stats_naval_tables*), and I get an Error, blocking me viewing or editing the file. I also get this (see below) with alot of other pathways when trying to access or view them.
"ming.pack - Unhandled exception has occured in your application - Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index"
Anyway im at another dead end. I worry that you may have to edit the files yourself and reupload the whole mod to twcentre again. I would attempt to fix it, and repost the solution on the other two threads i have posted on, but I dont want to just lead people into another error requiring your attention.
Ill help out however i can anyway man, and apologies if this has occurred at a busy time for you.
Anyway i eagerly await your response on how to proceed.
Kind Regards, Fishbong (Adam)
I think you need to check the download links
I get 3 zips
each with a pack
ming.pack 342MB
Ming units abt 600MB
Ming map extra abt 190MB
im sure this isnt all the addons and missing alot
Plz check

Hey Uanime5, sorry to bother you again.
The Ming.pack(old) you linked me to, will require the other 2 parts to it to work. I Tried putting it in with the Morning Sun 2.8 Installed (the other 2 parts MINUS ming.pack) and I get an end of turn crash (consistent) at like turn 7-8 to do with the Sai Ikki Clan. Ive obviously got mismatched packs. But it did occur to me that you could launch another thread on the Morning Sun Forum Called like "Morning Sun 2.x" labeled as a correct working naval trade mod. nevermind if not, but as i said, i think the One file you linked me to the other day may require its equivalent other 2 parts to avoid any issues.
In your own time man. Kind Regards, Fishbong ^^.
That's due to a flaw in the early versions of the ming.pack, not a conflict with the other packs. So the old versions of the other two packs won't fix this.
I could try uploading a later version of this mod as I can't remember how I fixed this bug. I think it was during an overhaul when I changed a lot of things.

Can this map be used for the Warlord Era of 1916-1928? As in, it is even possible?
alhoon is not a member of the infamous Hoons: a (fictional) nazi-sympathizer KKK clan. Of course, no Hoon would openly admit affiliation to the uninitiated.
"Angry Uncle Gordon" describes me well.

I can't seem to be able to run the mod. I check all the pack files in the mod manager but after the initial loading screen (before the game gets to the cinematics) screen turns black and the Shogun 2 cursor just stays there. File sizes are correct, latest version of Shogun installed but I just can't get it to work. Note: I tried installing a bunch of other mods to see how it goes and both Sekigahara Campaign and Tenka Fubu worked correctly. Any ideas what might cause the problem?
This mod conflicts with a lot of other mods. Try playing it without any other mods.
