Rome 2: Total War Preset - Ad Finitum

Hi there, your preset looks amazing and I would love to give it a try, but whenever I switched your file in my current preset, the game crashes at launch (black screen). I tried with other presets, and they worked. Any idea that could help me figure this out..? ><

I had the same problem as Azufel. I'm using Gem version 1.0.9 and when I added Slypear's presets into my current folder the game would crash at launch. I fixed the crashes by unchecking the bypass UI box.

hey everyone, if you have the latest gemfx, you have to load the preset with By-pass Ui un ticked. The current version of gemfx does not support that option yet

Thanks for the setting specs! I've been playing around with the GEM settings for the last couple of weeks and couldn't really find a configuration that sat well with me; UNTIL NOW.

Ooh, very nice! I don't own Attila, so seeing my presets' effects on it is really cool. Good to see it ditched the extreme purple of native Attila.

Do you mind sharing your tweaked version of the preset ?
I tried Slypear preset (the 2 versions) and i can't reasonably achieved that color tone or lighting on Londinium.

Are you sure that you properly installed my presets and aren't using GEM's default settings instead?

Are you referring to the Londinium example presented above in the benchmark, or during battles?

The basic GEM is working, but if I try to use any other presets (for example yours) rome 2 will crash at the loading screen every time. ( i guess I have to put your file in......\Total War Rome II\GEMFX\Presets\current and replace the old one)

I dislike the basic settings of GEM, because the colours are too bright for me, I prefer some darker ones, like in Attila.

What could be a possible solution? I would really want to try out your GEM preset

Which preset of mine are you using? Is your GEM up to date?

I tried both of your uploaded files on the first page, but non of them are working.

I downloaded GEM 2 days ago from the main thread, so it should be up-to-date.

So I am not sure what could be the problem.

Hmm, I've updated both presets and their dropbox links, try another download and see if they work.
