As for F4, one thing is certain, if it were up to the director we would have at least have a different superhero movie, the studio made it a generic bad bull. At least Josh Trank could have failed nobly with trying something new, I can at least respect that a bit.

Also Deadpool is getting a release in February which will probably be a good thing since it shouldn't have much competition, maybe it will end up as Kingsman. Though I really can't check what exact movies are showing on the same weekend.

    EDIT:
    It's facing
    • How to Be Single (WB)
    • Zoolander 2 (Par.)
    • Barbershop 3 (WB)
    • Shut In (EC)

Kind of funny we have four different comedies counting Deadpool, that might be very troublesome, though Deadpool is also rated R and the ONLY action movie so that might give the extra boost and I guess Dakota Johnson's stardom isn't that big after Fifty Shades of Grey but still the name of the movie alone will steal all the female audience.

A thread I forgot was affected by the rollback.

Here's the trailer from 12 Days of Deadpool

And here was the recent Superbowl teaser

I'm sitting in the theater now. There are little kids here. Their parents better not throw a fit if they didn't know this movie is not like other superhero movies.

I got to watch this yesterday. Very enjoyable, if you are into this kind of raunchy humor. Deadpool fans will be pleased for sure.

    It was great.

And it is breaking all kinds of records for an R rated film.

Glad they are getting a sequel

Just watched it. It's just as good as the trailers made it out to be (which was quite a lot, to me). Granted, there's nothing here that's especially deep or ambitious, but it doesn't pretend to be, so, the result is tons and tons of fun. Fantastic.

Saw it on Friday. It was amazing. A dream come true. Everything I wanted it to be. Except the villain is weak. I would have liked someone a lot more menacing so that the victory is even sweeter.

This seems to be the best thread for this, Fox is now aiming for a R rated Wolverine movie.

Fine effort, even makes fun of the low budget. Essentially 2 major scenes spun out to a movie length but totally worth it because of transgressions of the informal Hollywood code. Zero character development, weirdly the least sexist superhero film I've ever seen, and I laughed at pretty much every gag. I really don't like Ryan Reynolds but he was the right man for this.
