THE LAST PAGAN EMPEROR
By Justinian Australis
A RTW:Somnium Apostatae Iuliani Modification
Roman Empire
In the year 368 AD, the Roman world still finds itself divided in civil war; Julian is still resisted by the fanatical elements of the Arian worshipping eastern rebels, who even as their apogee has well and truly descended into an inevitable decline, continue to resist the reforms initiated by Julian, for freedom of worship and a reinstatement of the temples of pagan Rome. Julian is at the walls of Antioch, a thorn in his side, where mockery of his rule drives him to distraction and is readying for a final push to capture the important city. Several notable events spur an even more intense resistance than usual, as the former Prefect of Gallia Valentinianus has died in captivity and the one time Ceasar, Marcellus Barbatus, murdered by a spurned officer, which only serves to plant in the mind of his enemies that the Emperor is a tyrant attempting the eradication of Christianity.
Back in the west, whilst largely stable, the mice have come out to play. Corialanus Phocas, the loyal Caesar of Julian, has left for Rome, after the abrupt hailing as Imperator by his loyal and hardy troops, as "Germanicus" for his many victories against the Franks, sees a golden opportunity present itself. Mindful of the fact he cannot legitimately claim such honours without the Emperor's approval, Phocas begins a propaganda campaign aimed at the Emperor and also the Senate in Rome, for come hell or high water, Phocas wishes to ride the streets of Rome in triumph, like a victorious general of old and see that the Senate is a pliant partner in his long term ambitions.

For the Sake of Love
Aristeia Total War AAR as the Trojans. Join in and watch as the Greatest war in history of man begins, a war For the Sake of Love
In the year 450 AD Britain is in chaos. Rome has departed forever, and a series of kingdoms have risen to fill the vacuum. In the north and the west the Britons embrace the opportunity to reclaim their heritage and lands lost for 400 years. In the south, the Roman-British cling to Roman ways of life, government, and war, yet even they are divided on their feelings about crumbling Roma. And in the east fleets of Germanic invaders ground their hulls fully intent to stay and make the isles theirs. Hibernia is embroiled in endemic wars and in Gaul the last bastion of Rome, Soissons, is struggling to overcome hordes of barbarians.
The northern Kingdom of Ebrauc, wildest of the Romano-British kingdoms is surrounded by enemies. Dunawt, bastard-born son of the king, and his brothers fight with every weapon they have - armies, diplomacy, marriage - to protect their kingdom and try to restore stability to Britain.
It does seem pretty lonely here, thought I'd give it a go as well
Might as well throw my hat in since there is such fierce competition.
New Attila: TW Ostrogothic Kingdom and Empire AAR-
TRAPSTILA VANDALARIUS- THE FALL OF THE ROMANO-GOTHIC EMPIRE
Out of the darkness and despair of the fall of the Western Roman Empire, emerges a Kingdom that will inherit it. Together with their Roman and Germanic allies, they carve a path of tangled webs and bloodied blades into an uncertain future against the Flagellum Dei himself, and will stand on the precipice of the fall of civilization, and the wreckage of it's monuments, only to reclaim it under a legendary warrior king that can create a new kingdom from the ashes. In chapter V: The power mad, xenophobic son of Vithericus, Eutharic declares war on the people of Italy, and his generals such as Trapstila fall into partisan ranks over the fate of the Imperial dynasty. The people on the brink of disaster from an old story and an old femme fatale, Gaatha, stake their claims, though it may lead to doom. The war against Roman Gallica is ending, as a defense is mustered against the terror from the east, but some players involved have no limits to their vengeance, or ambition.

It seems that a fifth entry is needed to run the competition (without reduced rewards). The prologue and chapter one of my Haiti AAR were posted in July, so hopefully it qualifies (title: Kite Pèp Mwen An Ale: Let My People Go, author: Alwyn, game: Empire Total War, faction: Haiti, mod: Sturm und Drang).

The Slave Ship by JMW Turner
It’s 1782. In America, the Thirteen Colonies have won their war for independence. In Europe, whispers of revolution disturb the sleep of King Louis XVI of France. In the Caribbean, slaves work in brutal conditions on French, Spanish and British plantations. Many do not survive. Those who do yearn for freedom and dignity...
