Why The Lagg? Information also about your system.

Greetings to all,

I am experiencing some serious lagg from time to time on the campaign. Even tough i use low standard for everything it looks like i can not get rid of my lagg. My computer is far above the minimum standards and i have cleaned my computer fully by performing a format so i don't have spyware on my computer nor virusses. To be sure i even made a check up if my computer was able to handle this game and on the internet it said it did. Anyway so my question is, is anybod having the problems i have? Those are;

- Freezing of the computer while playing campaign
- Lagg with defending or sieging castles
- Lagg with massive fights 1000 man vs 1000 man for example.

So what do you guys think? Is this a bug? Or should i go and buy some new parts for my computer. I will do it if its necessary, but if my computer is good enough i won't and try to solve the problem somewhere els. This is bugging the **** outa me to be honoust. I fell in love with this game and i want to play it without lagg. I don't care if i play on LOW, i just want to play it so bad! So any suggestions idea's and all those good stuff is highly welcome !

The rest of your computer is great so just slot in at 7600 or 7900 and youll max it easily. Maybe another gb of ram too.

Hmmm so the lagg is because of my videocard and not because of my CPU? My CPU speed is good, but my CPU is a little above the standard. Sorry the screenshot was to big, but on the top of CPU SPEED. It says CPU. I don't even know what the difference is can somebody explain that to please? Why do i need a better videocard if it says i am 2 lines above average? Can anybody give me more information i don't really get it.

You may be experiencing a well known siege bug that has affected even those with high-end systems. It occurs you or the AI uses siege ladders, and the infantry mass around them.

I have created custom battles with thousands of troops with no problem, just when there are siege ladders involved.

Like i said, there are issues with the game, wait for the patches to be released, they may cure your problems.

Otherwise turn down your graphics settings in the game.

your cpu is fine dont worry about that.

you may need a new videocard, just wait for the first patch like baldrick said cause you may just be experiencing the seige bug.

but if the patch doesnt fix it, buy a new video card. dont touch the cpu it is fine

Oke thanks all i am going to wait for the new update. If that does not fix my problem i geuss i will be buying a new video card.

so if its his graphics card thats the problem then how come my 512mb graphics card still gives me lag??? i have 3.4ghz processor and 1gb of ram but still i get lag some on any of the really high settings and have to play on medium to avoid lags on 1000 + a side siege battles. any advice ???:hmmm:

Im getting lag too, ESPECIALLY on seiges... what REALLY ****** me off is that my computer isn't that bad AND I'm playing on medium to low settings. This is my spec: AMD 64 4000, 2 GIG RAM, X1800XT 512 GPU. I have no shadows, low grass detail, low building detail, low resolution, large not huge army sizes and low effects detail... so why am I getting lag?

On an open battle with 1000 men each side I have FPS between 20 and 60 but I still get a lot of slowdown.
