Here is latest rework of French roster. So far, 16th century is not included, il work on it too.
Only red letter units are ensured, black ones are something that i experimenting. Although, even red ones can change.
As you can see, some units are available little earlier, with modified armors to present era. And armor upgrades go by 'next' step, or better said, next century. This could save a lot of unit slots.

Militia - Lowest quality tropps, drawn from lower classes and peasants.
Sergeants - Semi proffessionals/professionals drawn from lower classes but not from peasants.
Men at arms - Proffessionals drawn from middle class and minor nobility.
Knights - knights. Very limited in numbers.

Could someone make me a list of factions that historicly used pavise shields? To be more exact, i need info about iberian factions, scotland, england and scandinavian factions.
