game freeses while trying to log in

when i try to log in the game freeses completely, i have the right CD-key, profile, e-mail and password

Check your firewall. Close all firewalls down(Norton or any other) before logging on.

Windows XP Service pack 2 comes with a personal firewall. You need to shut that one off too.

Also your router.(if have one)

You don't have to close them down, just allow M2TW.exe to access internet. Cause sometimes they don't ask you and that makes the game freeze.

It did this for me also. I have Norton Anti Virus with a firewall. I went into norton and put the medieval2.exe file in the permit list. Now it works. You should do the same with whatever firewall you have.
