Thread: Are tanks supposed to aim backwards?

Default Are tanks supposed to aim backwards?

Hello, sorry if this is intentional but I'd like to make sure I installed the mod correctly.

I loaded up a quick battle to test the mod and the tanks' aiming field is actually towards its back. If I order a tank to attack, it does a quick 180 turn, changes its mind then starts firing forward (despite the aiming field still pointing behind).

Is this a bug\installation error, or a limitation of the engine?

Well you will also notice that the machine gun's aiming field is towards the back. It's just I think a limitation of the engine.

Tanks are reskined artillary due to limitations from what i know. The quick 180 is probably the unit unlimbering but sped up but due to this being an engine meant for Napoleonic era warfare it really cant be done better.
