Default BPC ( better projectiles & campaign ) mod

I've been enjoying Attila. Overall it's a great game, nice new features.. However, there are some really annoying things as town towers burning own buildings; killing almost as many in friendly fire ( towers have huge accuracy spread), some missile & artillery units being OP and other...

I've made mod that fixes those issues and adds collection of various campaign/battle tweaks.

The game will be a bit harder (especially for small factions) & definitely more realistic.

    This mod changes :

-Battles will last about 40% longer. I balanced missile, weapons & charge damage of units to achieve that and better battle balancing between different unit classes - melee & shock cavalry, infantry, javelins & other missile units.

    - Wooden towers ( in minor settlements) fire regular arrows instead of flaming ones.

    - Artillery does less damage & less accurate, has more ammo.

    - Arrows, slingshots, crossbow bolts been completely reworked – with realism & gameplay in mind.
    - Slightly increase range & spread, increased firing speed and ammo
    - Missile damage reduced across the board. ( different adjustments for every missile type)
    - Heavy arrow shoots almost as fast as regular, but have less range. Flame shots have less A/P damage, a bit less range and reload slower, but do extra damage to horses & elephants,
-Reduced slowing effect of sling shots to 5% speed, reduced buffs for “precision shot”
    - Towers missile damage reduced to elite archers levels, but they more accurate & fire quicker.

    - Fatigue reworked, it takes longer to get fatigued and longer to rest.

-Various morale adjustments, somewhat less penalty from general death, flanking & rear charge for AI.
Penalty from artillery, missile & fatigue. Slight buff for AI & penalty for human on harder difficulty.

-Ships less likely to catch of fire when its raining.
-Max melee penalty for settlement destruction is 3 (attack & defense), morale 6. Less damage to the settlement during sieges.

    -
Higher chance of cavalry refusal versus pike phalanx & charge deflectors. Slightly reduced flanking & rear attack bonus ( due to BAI limits)
-Friendly fire from missile units reduced.
Slightly lower reload rates in rain or snow.

-Cleaned some ancillary effects , decreased value of excessive ones.

    - Time to capture gate increased to 30 sec.
    - Fertility decreases less ( the third stage is the same as second at -2, the forth at -3)

    - Reduced mounts hit points by about 35%

    - Real world speeds for running, walking & charging for all the units . The speeds somewhat slower, the most affected are horses & camels

    - Other income reduced to 1900 for major and 3000 for minor factions. It results in more decisive battles & a bit harder difficulty for smaller factions

    -
All previously free technologies cost 1000

    - More kids (legitimate), bigger families. Much higher change of getting married.

    - A bit higher chance of plaque, it lasts longer, higher penalties for plaques, sanitation is more important!

    - The minimum percentage of the units max soldiers a unit can have before it is destroyed increased to 10%
    - Human horde rivalry (infighting) is @ 15% income penalty & 15 food.
    - Slightly higher food consumption for hordes & raiding armies

    - Added seasons effects variations
    - Garrisoned armies in settlements +2 squalor
    penalty
    - Changed upkeep of several units due to adjustments in effectiveness & and other factors.
    - Colonizing costs reduced to 8K, Zone of control reduced to 4.

    Download BPC3.0 is here:
    https://www.mediafire.com/?4chpa902ie1ws2t
The mod is updated to the latest patch

I just added following changes to my mod:
    - Increased Experience level thresholds for agents, generals & armies (vanilla agents in particular get high ranking way too quickly)
    - Better roads provide faster movement costs, upgrade threshold was lowered
    - No Razing for all factions except nomads, No sacking for romans & eastern factions ( it deals nicely with too many desolate regions & excessive sacking in the game)

Download BPC3.1a here ( it's includes the recent changes only, for the whole mod use both parts, or BPC3.1a file can be used as standalone )
