Need help modding

Hey there, I was playing around trying to do some settlement modding, simply to get myself alittle more accustom to it, and to make the Scots life a little harder.

I gave York to the English from the start, made it a castle and give it a small garrison
Changed Nottingham to a city ( I always do that anyway )

At this point there was nothing wrong it worked perfectly fine.

Then I thought I would have a go at removing a settlement from a faction. My target was Portugal, I prefer to play Portugal as a merchant nation, so decided to take Pamplona away from them. Also didn't like the big split between them.

I changed the co-ordinates of the Family member in Pamplona to that of Lisbon, then deleted the small army beside the settlement.

From here I then took the settlement details and placed them in the rebels faction slot and thought that was that.

I went to test it and when I click on "Grand Campaign" in the single player menu it comes up "Please select from list".

Can anyone help me out with what went wrong?
