Is anyone going to be purchasing this, and if so why?

I haven't kept up with any of the recent EU4 DLCs. I would just say "wait for the game of the whatever edition" but as we have seen with CK2, that ain't happening for awhile, if ever.
I will buy it. Just because I always do, I guess.

not much sense in not owning this DLC after 9th June
War is Hell, and I'm the Devil!
I generally wait that a few major DLCs are out before buying games and I just got this..
I'm fairly experienced with both EU3 and CK2, and both were quite overwhelming at the beginning, especially CK2, which turned out to be easy anyways.
How hard do you think it is to learn EU4 up to date with Common Sense and everything else? Because I'm basically back at how I felt when I tried CK2: enter game game, listen to the cool soundtrack, pick a somewhat strong faction, look around, quit to main menu because I feel there's too much to touch and I can't be bothered right now. Exciting yet overwhelming. Any major changes I should look into it from EU3?
I mean, I'm used to keep open the events list at the bottom of the screen to keep an eye on what's going on around the world, but that seems to be impossible in EU4, the number of things listed is massive.

EU4 is quite a bit different to EU3. I started back playing properly myself lately and it took a few practice games to really understand all the new concepts. I'm still learning in fact but once you get over the hill it really becomes enjoyable. At this stage I'm just refining my play and trying to get better and I've only been playing for a week or so.
It's definitely worth it if you're willing to put in some effort and learn the mechanic (Youtube and the wiki are pretty good) but if you don't think you could stay motivated through the learning curve, I think it would just be a waste of money. At the very least, have a look at some Let's Plays on Youtube before you decide.
It's one of the best games I've ever played. I definitely recommend it. Learning curve has really high altitude, but once you get near the top all effort really pays off.
I already bought it, and I like how it enhances the game even further.
So, giving it another shot today. Any point in doing the tutorials?
No. Unless they've had a major update I don't think they're worth your time. If you want to learn any other way than trial and error, you're probably better off watching some YouTube videos or something. If you do so, I'd recommend looking up Quill18. He usually explains pretty well what he does and why.
I'm also wondering whether the new DLC is worth da money.
But, I guess I will buy them eventually.
