Default IWTE Video Tutorial - Editing The Terrain / Creating Your First Settlement

Just in case people are still interested in medieval 2 settlement modding, here's a little tutorial on how to get started.
A second part explaining how to add your own buildings to a settlement I might upload at some later point aswell.

    #1 - Editing The Terrain

Some notes by wilddog and makanyane

    1) milkshape option 2 is more limited due to milkshapes limitation on triangles. ie you can't edit if vertex per row is greater than 181*181 (max is 65536 triangles).
    2) option 3 - you can change colors on (the greenA is a default but I think I added some others in).
    3) option 3 - is the most precise way to edit (sequence is option 1 then 2 then 3) as it tells you exactly the vertex height which is useful versus the actual world structures e.g. aligning the land the wall is on.
    4) making areas too steep will prevent some siege equipment from working eg rams, towers, ladders etc
    5) finally option 3 you can open a full world settlement and then the worldterrain and edit the world terrain so you can see the terrain editing against the actual settlement. Only caveat is that the 'merge' to the stratmap can't be seen as obviously you don't know it at this stage.
If you're increasing the size of the .worldterrain it will already have black at the outside edges of the Merge TGA and the resized one just ends up with a larger area of black all round the outside... any changes to the Terrain Base in that black area won't show up in game. To fix that and expand the area of the terrain that's actually being seen in game you need to enlarge the white/grey areas on the Terrain Merge - that can either be done via the TGA/GIMP method or in the 2D painter process (it's called WTmerge in that screen). You need pure white/1.00 value under the areas where you have buildings and need an exact height match, and then a shading out to grey and then black by the time you get to the outside edges.

[sorry for the lack of structure in this one but I was a little bit in a hurry when recording]
