AlienDark12
1.Load late campaign
2. Go to SS6.3\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign. Save an original copy of descr_strat and descr_events on your desktop or another folder.3. You have to decide what year you want the campaign to start.
3. Go to SS6.3\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign.
4. Open descr_strat. Scroll down to start_date and replace the number with whatever year you want the game to start.
5. Save and close descr_strat.
6. Go to descr_events and change the events all the way up to the year the campaign begins to 0. For example, if you want to start your campaign in the year 1370, change all of the event listed that go up to 150 to 0. This activates all armor unlocks and troops unlocks to that respective year.
7. Change all events after the start date to the correct number. For example, if your campaign starts in 1370 you have to change the timurids_invasion_warn to 10 instead of 160 since it happens in 1380. Repeat the process until complete for all events after the start date.
8. Save descr_events and close it.
9. Run your game and enjoy.
Some side notes:
Buildings will still be at the same level and there will be no citadels and few huge cities. This will slow down recruitment of the elite troops type of that era.
Also your economy will still be small.
