Well, after seeing this, I will never return back to playing Rome 2, while there is a wonderful mod like this.

Usually I like a lot what you're doing, but here it's very much the opposite.
I think the idea of naval restrictments is ahistorical nonsense. Ships sailed daily from Rhodes to Alexandria (in three or four days) and on many other open sea lanes. It was risky yes, but not impossible.
You better use the two lighter reds to design prefered sea lanes like they did in the Rome Total History map.
The following screenshot shows how this allows to travel the narrow Illyrian island channel in automatic:
Regarding the campaign map, I think it is way too dark and too much a copy of Rome II aesthetics. That's my opinion, since I liked RTW vanilla too.

I think they're a good idea if the ship's movement range can be bumped up (to like 200%).
