have you guys figured out a fix yet for the Steam version of Rome Total war not working well?
If you guys change the unit card and map style with rome 2 , one can be fooled that the game was Rome 2 rather rome 1, simply superb work

I want to help so this'll get released sooner gogo ;D
BUt rome 2's map style is fugly and unit cards are hideous....
I did some work on this and made some changes. I removed the bogus river you pointed out, and moved the two rivers around to look more like what you've shown. I must confess however that I really can't move around settlements and region borders as freely as I could back when we were making RS2. I'd have to rework at least five different maps in campaigns, and replace files in all 25 of them. It's just too much for me to do just for the esthetics of it. But it does look better now.
@Ciciro: Oh yes! I loved it too. There was only one...wasn't there?

The mod looks more amazing than it ever has, but how will this affect performance?
This is perfection. Will we be able to implement those masterpiece environment in our own mods / vanilla Rome like we did with your previous version? Thank you for your effort.
I have one suggestion how to make your maps even more beautiful. You know those random objects which appear on map like ruins, farms and so on? Make them appear more frequent on a map and this will make the environment even more interesting.

Looking really great. Lovely lighting going on.
Interesting that you brought back in some of the old trees I created like that Juniper and the oak tree and some of the pines.
But yes, agree, looking absolutely awesome. Nice work!

Dat feeling you get........when you see the screenshots and think ''hmm, good Rome 2 mod'' and then read the posts and realize its Rome 1.......I just had that.
Wonderfull news ! And the pics are amazing. I can't wait to start a new Carthaginian campaign with the new version :-)

Great environmental improvements! If the minor campaign changes work out satisfactorily, looks like I'll be starting a new campaign in RS3. Great job guys! Keep it up! Look forward to the release.
I will like to suggest a special focus on stats of archers( both mounted and dismounted). When playing as parthia, use of archers doesn't seem much effective against armoured seleucid units specially phalanx even if they are being shot from behind. i think they should be some much more prone to archers.
Wraith has been working on stats....so there will be changes. However, the original 2.6 stats will still be available.
