    Default Preferences.txt?

    Hello,

I remember this used to be the file to edit to remove unit markers and banners. However, I can't seem to find it for MIITW. Can somebody direct me in the right direction?

    Thanks!

what do you mean by arrow marks? do you mean, when you click and the green arrows pop up showing where you clicked?
if that is what you meant, then i want them off too. Ruins the emersion for me.
Also, where exactly is the preference.cfg file?
im getting game tomorrow and want to do this immediately.

The .cfg files is in the root directory of the game with the .EXE. If you install the game without changing the install directory, it will be located under C:/Program Files/Sega/Medieval 2 Total War/. Also you should open the file with Wordpad or Notepad. Finally, change the value from 0 to 1, I believe the line your looking for is Disable_arrow_makers.
