I am actually only interested in the unique units, so if anybody would like to upload them I would be very grateful as would the whole Dominion of the Sword team and fans!

Dude, this mod looks awesome, I've downloaded it but I can't install it..

here from the original page of mod;

Installation:
Extract the files directly into your mods/ folder and run the mod with the fa.bat !
For less problems make sure you've a fresh Ferrum Aeternum mod installation and check if theres any files on your C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\ Games\Medieval2 Total War and if theres any files from previous installation DELETE THEM !!
To extract we recommend the 7zip (free) http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

put all files in one map,then right click on part 1 and extrat them in the map with 7zip, then put FA map in the mods section where all your mod are;then you see a fa bat in the fa map,double click it too laugh the mod.
