I agree.The most of the persian documents destroyed in arabs and mongols invasions and it's very hard to find proper sources but showing the history is an important job so you should not be under the influence of only greek sources.
I thank you for not being incurious to real history unlike CA.

Its really sad, when documents, buildings, or anything about them, will lost from any civilization.

I was wondering if you've managed to change the technological trees for Persia. I've tried several mods unlocking this faction, but none of them provides the right technologies, i.e., eastern technologies used by Armenia or Parthia. Research in platonic philosophy, greek classical art, thessalian tactics, and so forth, always made me uncomfortable.

I've spent many hours checking the startpos files but I could not figure out the right adjustments necessary to assign the "convenient" technologies to Persia.
It seems like the technology trees from WoS are special and generic ones, shared by all factions, regardless of culture...

Yes we did changed them..Every faction in GaW has unique technologies and not the vanilla ones.

The Persia campaign is one of the most relaxed ones. Useful and recommended for people that is new to the mod and will be playing while reading the manual. Please read the manual slowly add it is impossible to understand what is happening in the game if you don't do it.

Just a note, because of the amazing new unit icons and also that I have redone every unit quite a lot I'm considering a new updated "presentation" rather than preview. Nothing fancy just pics and names of the unit and caps, more of a guide when playing Persia

The Greek ui cards are wip. I think we will release the mod most probably with such aspect, wich is far way better than vanila ones at least and they add immersion. Then, we will see if we can improve them by colouring them a bit but we are still brainstorming about that.

In Manual - Occupy decisions. The unit cards are great. What kind of hoplites are shown in the middle of picture? Periokoi hoplitai?
