Wait so you're saying that the difficulty changes the recruitment level? I'm not sure I understand that decision completely from a design perspective. And also just to clarify since I'm on hard campaign setting (in game): it goes hard setting (1 per turn), then very hard and legendary are +5)?
Then i dont know what problem you should get +5 on very hard campaign setting, you use latest beta right ? not 4.1 version ? If you use beta version, probably there will be other mod that cause some problem.
I already have some idea for 4.2 E beta, its will radically challenge player and test player capability as strategist to the maximum limit, since i try to remove the barrier between AI and Human. More info will come soon need more test first

I'm using the 4.2D and my campaign setting is on hard and battle setting is on normal because I don't like ai getting cheats in battle. Hope that helps.
On hard you should get +4 for recruitment slot, are you sure you dont use other mod, perhaps imperiales economy ???
Try load BACAI above other mod, on mod load order

That province fertility increase stuff is valid for other factions too right? (Garamantian's faction trait isn't, for example)
So AI will target that province more than infertile ones?

Let me start by saying, great work on this mod. I refuse to play the game until I have it. I've begun to worry for I have not seen an update on the thread in a while. Just hoping that this silence may mean the final release is coming!

Well for vanilla version actually is has been completed two days ago (still need some final testing), but as you know BACAI itself support multiple hosted mod, so right now i still waiting radious team release april mega update. Before release 4.2 official version that work with other hosted mod as well.
The last update after 4.2 D beta was 4.2 E beta (not for public view) the change was quite small but enough to change the whole concept of player gameplay, normally good player can overcome AI despite AI bring more army the human player, its very rare to see good player lose in settlement defend againt AI, however the final tweak truly change that, by removing the key element that help player abused it.
Speak frankly player and AI realy fighting on the same term of strengh, its realy hard to get easy victory when defending your own settlement especially if AI realy bring enough army to beat player. Cmon even you realize you can beat 1 full stack AI using only garrison army if you know how to put right troop in the right place.Now its different. What autoresolve saying you gonna lose then in reality you will get similiar result, effectivly prevent human player to expand more futher while leave the defense on the settlement using garrison army only.

I appreciate the quick response. I'm happy to hear it's been completed and just waiting the final tweaks to be done. Personally I play FotE, but I'm very eager to get back to some pillaging and works domination. Ohh and a thank you to Sharpeyed as well for his contribution.
