Has anyone ever seen European nations go to other continents?

I have been playing this campaign(160)turns in and I realise no europeon nation has set foot in the new world or ANY part of the map. Also when will i be able to build boats that can go across the sea

You are abble to go to America from start. I always send my diplomats to American nations so... You are not abble to go to Asia by sea due to unpassable sea under Africa. And about AI, there are some scripts for it I think...

Well i found a way into asia by sea( conquer the holy land) So i got a good trading position. I just really want to go to Brazil and compete with other European nations for land outside of europe

There is some way through north, I know when I was sending fleet there, first I saw Apachean, North America... Around 1490 like in reality is there some script, but I've never got so far in campaing, falcom4ever knows more accurate informations about it.

Yup, Spanish and Portuguese engage expeditions. Cholas sail to south-east asia and Malays colonize Madagascar.

If you use a good ship such as a caravel you can cross directly.

If you use small ships such as cogs, you have to navigate along the coasts .

When will i be able to get such beasts

It depends the faction.

But basically improve the port to the highest stage in your largest city and build the best ships.

Caravel is only avaliable to Portugal and Spain and only at some point. But there are other ships than can cross the sea.
