Hello,
anyone here who knows if the music in the video is included in XC or in previous versions? If not, then anyone knows the music's title?

Oh gosh, please allow the vanilla songs to play!
I miss them so much.
Is there any chance you could replace the menu and loading screens?
I found a massive collection from another mod with really amazing artwork.

Maybe you can look through it and see if there is anything that fits this mod.
As for the theme, how about the Epitaph of Seikilos?
Its from the mod's period and should be quite accurate too.

I think the vanilla soundtrack is fine for the campaign and battles.
I am not sure what you mean by less known.
I dont think they are all known, there are hundreds of screens of different scenes and in great quality.
The epitaph is just one suggestion but i think its a much better track than the current one in XC4 which to me just doesnt sound good.
Its too repetitive and the screechy bag pipe thing is tiring to hear when spending a lot of time through the menus.
Well, most of both scenes and soundtracks are copyrighted material, so finding ones freely useable is an issue.
The soundtrack is a case in point: While arguably not the best it's an actual play of launeddas (double/triple lute, far from a bag pipe) made by someone I could personally ask authorization from, while the theme you pointed is most likely not easily useable.
If I get the time I may try to mix and match parts of different plays to create something original and more pleaseant to the ear although my artistic skills are very lacking...
Yeah i wish their was a way to replace the new xc menu music with the vanilla music. Does my head in and which is why i play XGM.
