    hehe I was thinking that too...not that he's cheating, just what is your secret...England is mine, bar for Caernarvon, but that is being starved out, however, i cannot generate enough cash...all cities are cities, not castles and i have merchants jumping on anything that even resembles a resource...

    come on, on the first screens the dates are 1209 or 1215, by begining in 1080, 2yrs/turn, how could you manage to go through this date :hmmm:
    Of course he has changed the yrs/turn, but (I do not have the game) conquering 5 cities in 70 turns sounds a bit very slow for you

    Havent someone posted a guide to how make 1 year into 2 turns?

    Im not slow, but its hard as the Scots. And if he's playing on hard/hard, then it'll be alot harder. 5 Cities in 70 turns aint that bad for Scotland. I've taken all of England and Oslo. And my economy is getting better and better. My army stronger and stronger. So whats your point?

    No guys im not cheating... really i dont but i did the following what brought much much cash...

    The starting of the scottisch everybody know.... i first got that city upper north and then york.... right after that i went straigt to Dublin get it in 2 turns and went back....meanwhile building units untill i had a full stack 3/4 turns later i had Nottingham ( a full stack of english went rebel ) and went straight to cavernon so the english had to defend that after nottingham 2 turns later i had London ( poorly defend ). 2 turns later i had a big battle with 2 half stack army's from england and 8 turns later ( siege ) i had cavernon. Getting it without a fight ( half stack ). Around that turn i got order to take antwerp ( rebel ) so few turns later i did . After that i went straight for Brugge ( rebel city ) i got that one. Around this time my first crusade was there so i got some militia and my king made it a crusade and went by land to the holy land ( buying soldiers on the way ). But offcourse i didnt was there as first ( that was my idea ) now i had a big stack in de middle east ( let the fun begin ) town / castle raping and sacking. First one was Constantinople ==> 25000 € and i got 3 other city's around that pricy so i got in a few turns 80.000 to 100.000 i dont have to tell you i bought some new merc and build only big armys and upgrade's for my city. Around that that the backstabbing from Danmark and France begun. They attack i won i counter attack and in 2 turns i had 2 city's. This pos. i had a while ( grabbed 1 other city ). No the funny part begins France was excommunicated and the pope asked for a crusade for Toulouse. He thats perfect raised a army withy militia ( and bought right after that a full stack of merc. crusaders ) i went to toulouse but offcourse i lost ( on purpose ) but now Toulouse was from Spain and i got nice stack between Bordeaux ( castle ) and that city in Normandie. Got Bordeaux ( half stack ) 2 turns later Normandia and some turns later that city just more into france ( near Caen ). Caen was the only province from england and thay backstack my on Paris shouldnt done that because i went with a small army to Caen grabbed the city and Englisch was gone ( with that big stack by paris so no fighting there ).

    No France is nearly gone.......

    Honestly no cheating here. ........ just how you say littly luck and tactics

    Ow btw not 5 city's but 14 city's...... count them

    btw capture their faction heir and you got 5000 for it capture their king and you get 10.000 for it....nice piece of cash

    tiny update because i only played a few years

    ( 6 turns later -12 years )

    3 provinces more..... ( 1 in eastern part - 1x france ( marseille ) ( marseille not yet on this printscreen because i captured it right after and quited and 1x Milan ( just above the alpes )

    war with Danmark / Milan / France / Egypt / Spain



    and look at this unit most beautiful so far ( in my opinion )

    ^^ Nice Campaign. I used the exact same strategy in my Scottish playthrough.

    I've gotten the Hospitallers Guild before too. But, is there a pre-req for the Knights Templer guild? I've been through an entire campaign and I never received the option to build their chapter house. Is there a specific build order?

    One more question, what purpose is the Explorer Guild for?

    I don't know how, but I got a Knights Templar guild as the Hungarians around turn 30. I'm not sure about the inner-workings of these things, but those Knights Templar were quite awesome when the HRE came a-knocking

    explorer guild to get movement points for your units ( so far i know ) and that templar guild you get if you are settled in the holy land in a stable city for while ( as far as i know ).

    p.s. will update this thread with some more screen ( after a few turns ) this weekend

    It might be that you've already had some guilds in certain setllements which why you couldn't build Templars wait with all those explorers and such before you get what you need.P:S: And about first pics how do you get 1209 or 1215 if you play unmoded 2-years turn the numbers would be even then like 1208 or 1216 so it's one-year campaign!
