Default Being considerate of our Oz friends.

For legal reasons and to protect this thread from being closed I want to outline that I am not talking about the nation of Australia here.

I am talking about the Peoples Democratic Dictatorship of Oz, which is an island/continent nation in the Southern hemisphere in the pacific and South of Indonesia.

This country has the unfortunate problem of having a population that enjoys and loves tw games, but a government that thinks it can dictate to the people what is alright to play on "moral grounds". I live in a country with similar problems, eventhough my government is alot less draconian. Being confronted with this problem means that you cant always buy the products you want and I circumvented my governments laws and regulations by making deals with foreign friends via steam to get what I want. Say for example the Shogun 2 blood pack, I counldnt buy it, so I contacted some people via forum and offerd to give them a present via steam and in return I would receive the blood pack as a present.
Unfortunatly by doing this I encounterd alot of rather greedy people, for example one person who demanded 20 euros so he would buy me a 2 euro DLC.

This might become an issue for the people of Oz, once the blood pack for Attila is released.

I would like our friends from Oz to avoid greedy bastards aswell as have the liberty to be a free consumer with the right to chose what they want.

As such I hope we can use this thread to communicate with our friends from Oz and to arrange gift swaps on a fair basis.

There are 3 ways to solve this:

1st: Take it up with the government, take it to the streets, burn some cars!
2st: CA makes the DLC not region locked (honestly best way if you ask me)
3st: Dethrone the Wizard and call in the green witch.

I'm also afraid this DLC won't be released in our country - at least not in the previewed version...

    You will know by tomorrow.

On Amazon it says that it will be available for purchase on the 25th of march.

If you cant get it use this forum to make a gift arrangement. I am willing to participate.

I hope for the best that it isn't regionlocked.

I dont see it available on steam. And on amazon it says that it will be available on the 25th of march.

So we have to wait until tomorrow. I am still hopefull that my government will not ban it, considering that they also didnt ban the Rome 2 blood and gore DLC.

    It`s not 8$

Will already confirmed that that is a mistake by amazon.

It will be the same price as the Rome 2 blood pack. Which i think is 2.50$.

What if u get a key from some site that sells them (gmg, nuveem, etc.) and u activate it in your account-this is possible for some games that aren't available in certain regions. I remember buying Darks Souls for a friend this way and it worked nicely. U just must make sure u buy a ROW (rest of the world-not region locked) key and activate it and thats it.

This is all part of England's plan to undermine the Aussies going into the RWC.

First step: Denying them the blood pack.

Thanks for your concern "The Germans are coming ". As a citizen of the afore mentioned nation of Oz I think you may over estimate the extent of the "nanny state" which people complain about. In reality Oz is a very liberal western democracay even if excessively layered in bureaucracy. Re: blood patches for TW games I've had no trouble buying the ones for S2 and Rome2 and so am not expecting issues with Attila - that is if CA ever get around to releasing it!

It's only fair that the Australians don't get the blood pack. It's payback for getting to live in the most beautiful country on earth while us Brits stupidly wallow in this foggy cold hellhole. Why on earth did we not move London to Australia and leave the convicts here?
