Default Reduced Razing - Only Nomads can Raze

This mod significantly reduces the ammount of razing that occures during the campaign by only allowing the nomadic factions to raze settlements.

I've not messed with this much yet. My question is. Is it migratory barbarians that can raze in general, or ONLY factions in horde mode that can raze. Like can the Ostrogoths ALWAYS raze, or ONLY when they are migrating?

Only factions that cant settle can raze.

Those are: The Huns, Roxolanians, Izyges and Magyars.

Thanks fot this mod. In Vanilla, playing as WRE, i've noticed that also the roman rebels raze a lot. It's so stupid that a rebel can destroy his own town....And too much razing for my also from other enemies... i'll give a try. And i love Battlestar Galactica too. ;-)

Actualy it needs updates because the Celts DLC and patch added a new Culture group.

I think they are considered under the Barbarian culture still.. As I dont see Celt specific culture under that table..

    Yep I'm right, there is a table of Sub-cultures, which would show u these, among others;

    att_sub_cult_barbarian_celtic
    att_sub_cult_barbarian_germanic_east
    att_sub_cult_barbarian_germanic_north
    att_sub_cult_barbarian_germanic_west

See all are Barbarian still, but there are sub-cultures of it which Celts are considered one

And Nomads are only Huns and some Huns-like factions (Roxolans, Lazyges etc I guess), Vandals Goths etc still considered as Barbaric factions so they can liberate factions, while Nomads can

    oh yeah...

It`s in the culture_settlement_occupation_options tables and you are right.

    This mod needs no update.

So question I have is how does one go about dealing with winning wars against factions to subjugate them? Since you cannot raze, you cannot knock them to their last province to subjugate without conquering which might well hurt due to the high corruption rates it causes. Thoughts on how to counter?

Uhm, by not using the mod?

Or "abandon" the settlement after you occupy it (but be wary of Public order effects of this to your other settlements!)

Or spam sacking the settlement.. Till buildings almost got ruined..

So, I added this to play Attila TW instead of Raze Everything Total War and on the first turn as the Franks I have no options when capturing a city. It says settlement captured, but then it shows my only option as 'do nothing'.

Ok so your mod is the only mod that actually has the occupation tables visible, not even the default data pack has it, it is red and empty everywhere else. How did you do that?

Better yet, could you make a version with every occupation and diplomatic option EXCEPT razing? Is it simply a matter of adding the relevant rows and changing the zeros to ones?

Update: I am going to try to make the mod that a lot of people want -one that removes razing but gives all the other options to all factions- the stumbling block is finding a pack that I can extract the occupation tables from, every one I look at is red and empty. This question was asked in the mod tutorial section by someone else awhile back and no replies.

Because this mod isn't updated for the last game version.

I noticed with Ostrogoths that the only option left is "do nothing", it is bugged or just not updated for the latest version?
