Steam BC help

I used to play BC regularly on an old disc install of MTWII, but the discs disappeared and I couldn't get it to work any longer. So I bought the game through Steam, but now I have no idea how to get the mods to run. I have the files in the Steam appdata in the mods folder, and I've tried to change the launch settings to allow me to launch BC, but it doesn't seem to change anything.

Can anyone help me out here? I'm a novice at this sort of stuff, but I really miss playing BC.

For making the mod run, copy your medieval.exe and rename your copy kingdoms.exe.
Then it should work.
