So, a rather impressive collection of artefacts has been discovered, during the excavations of a 2,500 years old tomb in Champagne, NW France. Based on the extraordinary wealth of the tomb, the archaeologists assume that the dead body belongs to a member of the aristocratic class. Also, the findings strengthen their belief about freequent contact between the celtic populations of Gaul and the mediterrenean world, as many of them are characterized by elements of the Etruscan craftmanship and Greek mythology.

Very nice, although the section in the second to the last pic is atrocious, which doesn't bode well for their assessment of the stratigraphy. They need some Germans on their team.
