I think there are some mods that we can take it as reference

Imperial conflict 1405:with many new unit models of 15th Century,i'm one of their mod team
Machiavello Mercator:Another world map mod made by italian,start at 1514,have many interesting scripts
Colonialism_Total_War:A German mod that have some Indian and African units,but i can't find the modders of their mod
1648:With some 17th century units,sounds and new AI utilize for gunpowder age
for_king_or_country_ver_1.15:With some English units
Magyar2.16:With the Hungarian units
With fire and Sword II 0.95:Some middle eastern and eastern Europe units

Thanks, I will check that. I already dowloaded 1648, the mod is so cool.

I finished importing mughals and ming.
Will start working on the other indian faction and persia.
