    Note: This thread is for the Rome 2 versions of the mod. Keep the discussion of it here.


    Hey guys, it's finally time to release the second custom battle release of Medieval Kingdoms Total War! This is still for Rome 2 and is greatly improved from the first version.

    Here's the list of changes and features:


    16 Playable Factions:

    Kingdom of England
    Kingdom of France
    Kingdom of Scotland
    Kingdom of Hungary
    Kingdom of Poland
    Kingdom of Castile
    Holy Roman Empire
    Latin Empire
    Empire of Nicaea
    County of Flanders
    Republic of Venice
    Kievan Rus
    Mongol Horde
    Cuman Confederacy
    Ayyubid Sultanate
    Sultanate of Rum

    Around 200+ units in the mod overall now with around 75 new units added to the new and current factions.

    Most of the current units have been revamped or adjusted to make them more unique and distinct to their respective factions. Some units have been changed to be a high era unit like the Zweihander and Venetian Heavy Infantry.

    There have been new loading screens(not made by me) and unit cards made by our newest team member Finix.

    New armor and weapon DB values that should make battles slightly longer.

    Polearm units have been given the "pike phalanx" ability and have been buffed.

    The aforementioned pike phalanx has been changed so it more closely resembles Medieval 2.

    Fixed the faction assignment issue that was causing some people to not get certain factions. Basically this was because some of the factions were on DLC faction slots.

    Other minor bugfixes and tweaks.

    Install Instructions:

    Download the mod.
    Extract the rar file to your data folder.
    Enable out of date mods in the Launcher and activate the mod.

    Hi,

    Crashes at start up on my mac. All other mods work well if I just edit the .script file and add the file to the data file. Can you please make this available for macs? really really really would love to play this

    Just want to say thanks for up-loading the mod again more units and more factions; All really beautiful, makes me wonder what else you have planned, be it on Atilla or Rome ? Thanks again to all the team, hope this goes from strength to strength.....A real work of art.

    all works good.I love the unit cards,they are so much better than the Attila generic ones.The unit models are also good.Btw what will be the exact number of the playable factions in the mod for Attila on the campaign map? max 20,max 30,max 35???

    Another Question - can we mod the audio commentary comming from the units?? It will be a bit akward to hear the Thracian warriors or the Legio Comitotentes battle cries in 1212AD... If we can, are the medieval 2's the best ones to be incorporated in the mod ??

    The mediafire link doesn´t seem to work now, but the moddb link does. You mean you can´t download it from the site or you cannot open the file?
    To open the file you do need winrar or 7zip, yes.

    Thought I would give this a try, excellent job! Had a wee battle as Scotland vs England and 3 English archer units routed 3 Scots cavalry units (including my general). Apart from that, awesome! Really hope you guys can get this onto the Atilla campaign map!

    Hi-awesome mod guys!I have one litle suggestion that you can impelement in the future releases.For the orhtodox states such as Bulgaria,Romeic Empires (Nicea,Trebizond,Epiric empire) and so forth you can add banners that have christianic saints on them.We have good sourses telling us that these kingdoms had banners with Jesus Christ,The Mother of Christ,St.George,St.Michael and so on.I know its not a big request and you can pass it away but it would be a nice thing to see.

    Played it. It is damn good. For a mod, it is very impressive.

    From what I see so far, we raised sales of TW: Attila. Good work of the whole team. This personally motivates me to do even better things in the future!
