    Default A Couple Questions

    Hey guys,

First of all, I just wanted to say thanks to the devs for making this mod - it's fantastic, and I've been playing it just about non-stop (as much as my schedule allows) over the last week or so. Definitely one of my favourite - and in my opinion, one of the best - mods for Medieval 2!

In any case, I just had a couple questions.

I started an Austrian campaign earlier today, but I can't seem to find von Wallenstein. Does he enter the emperor's service as a general at a later date, perhaps?

Secondly, when do the "reformed" versions of the basic units (Regiments of Foot, Grenadiers etc.) become available?

    Thanks again!

I could have sworn that was in the FAQ, or somewhere. Wallenstein is a general for the Catholic League, so you can't get him.

    Uh...1624?

    Nope: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...orm-take-place

Wallenstein, Tilly and Mansfeld only turn up via script in historical battles. These are similar to custom battles but are part of the campaign. If you win the battle you can opt to keep any of the remnants of that army but not the general.

The reform event is set at around 1627. It does not have a fixed date.
