    Today the Vae Victis team is proud to release our latest update of Vae Victis (v.61)

    *IMPORTANT FOR STEAM USERS*
    Parts 4 & 5 need to be re-subscribed

    Yes, though if innacuracies are brought to our attention we are open to improving it further.

    There will however be additional 'regional' units added to the ptolemaic roster once we implement our AoR system

    Steam version has now been updated

    you will need to resubscribe to parts 4 and 5 though

    One question: I assume that due to all the changes you made its not savegame compatible?

    Yes and no, you can continue your save game but it may also mean some factions stop recruiting troops due to new faction recruitment templates.

    it might be technically possible to edit the save game to change the military groups of the factions which were changed and the factions would continue trying to recruit from the military groups they originally had, but it might be a bit odd

    Magnar, I haven't looked back at this engine since the beginning of 2014, but great to see your mod expanding so much.

    I still see the vanilla unit cards though (I was using bullgod's submod when I played MM). I thought the plan was to include something similar?

    Hi Dago, i made the sub mod that adds bullgod style mod card to the mod, but i've only really just started looking at updating them as i've been really busy

    Magnar, and all the rest of you involved with this Mod,
    I'm a huge reader of these forums, not a poster. But I just wanted to thank the Vae Victus team for good work so far. I really appreciate all the time and work that you devote to this Mod. You have helped make this game more immersive for me. I look forward to all of your future enhancements and improvements.

    Good to hear Balbor. Initially I did my best to acclimate to the vanilla cards, but once bullgod came out, there was no going back. They're just awful.

    Hail VV team, First I`d like to thank U guys for a great mod! My question is about this new version. I subscribed to this mod on Steam sometime in January 2015 and I`m not sure if I have the latest version. Does Steam update it Auto or is there something I have to do if i`m not up to date? I read a couple of posts about resubscribing to pts 4 and 5. If so do I unsubscribe the pts I have now first or just resubscribe. Probably a dumb question but I just want to make sure I don`t screw up this great mod. Thanks again guys.

    Yes you will need to unsubscribe to parts 4 & 5 if you subscribed to them before the last update.

    Then resubscribe to the new parts 4 & 5. The other parts will auto update.
