    Well I mentioned units from the former roster so yes, I was talking about the battlefield banners carried by soldiers in units
    I see from the screens that the strat changes are a sure thing.

    Oh I watched/read all the previews,however nowhere does it show whether the units have the banner wielding captain.
    I am at a loss of info here, are those captains completely removed?
    Or will they also carry regional banners/flags?

    The coat of arms and all banners of strat_map and battle mode are different. If any flag of the HRE, it remains the same that East Frankia, is because it has been so for historical reasons.


    P.S: The captain exists, doesn't disappear. And he carries his banner also.

    oh, hazy memory...

    to the best of my recolection:
    i made different sets of flags for Franks and Germans(HRE) that will be carried by officers (there is even a hornblover, though not animated as such).
    these are part of the roster equipment and their design will change, though the symbolism is kept. these flags indicate what type of unit even when the gynormous floating banners are disabled.

    the German knights also has banners on their lances, which is intended to represent their origin. the Franks has simple coloured vimples on their lances.

    Let me refresh Absinthia's memory!
    The Germans have:
    The levies or mercenary troops that suposed that can be recruited from the entire state. No banner.
    The provincial representative troops like Saxons, Franks, Allamani etc...
    Each unit has its own bannerman!
    Saxons

    Allamani

    Franks

    Bawarii

    Frisii

    Boemi


    The rest of the troops are those that also suposed that come from all around the state (see pictures with HRE knights).

    NOTTICE: Watch troops have low rank knights as officers..Its the dawn of the Feudal era!

    My friend this is a small bug in the faction symbols.
    Actually this is the symbol of Magyars.
    TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
    Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

    IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
    Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

    One of the mods I follow closely since a long time! Good to see this one hasn't been abandoned. I love this time period and the scope of the mod, and I hope you will go through until the end with it. Awesome scripts; and I hope you'll manage to get some nice 2D art to fit the atmosphere, as well as strat map models (those little details that are so important to a full immersive experience - as least, that's what I look for when playing a game/mod).

    My only remark, that reflects my own personal opinion, is I think the unit cards background of the Frank Dukes being too dark. All the troops are barely distinguishable.

    This is a little problem. It is a work of few seconds or perhaps one or two minutes, when i make new backgrounds. When we release, it is changed.
