ok ... go to .... start>run> .... type regedit.exe ... then ... HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE .... software .... SEGA .. m2tw ... LOOK AT WHERE IT SAYS CD KEY AND DOUBLE CLICK N RE-ENTER

OH AND TYPE IN CAPITAL LETTERS

Also dont mistake with 0 with O and so on ....

1) Click on start
2) Then click on run
3) Type in regedit
4) Then open the scroll on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
5) Then open the scroll for Software
6) Then Sega
7) Then M2TW
8) Then double click on CD KEY and change it accordingly

Do you have to register at gamespyid.com to get mp work?
I did that but i still can't use it.
And my preferred name is way too long to fill in but in rome i could use it.
Bah why not enough space for a long name?

i still get a invalid cd key error message aswell, even tho i bought the game. ive tried entering it with caps on and off please help

reminds me of my Rome gold ed one of the numbers on the key was smudged. nobody woudl believe me they all called me a pirate couldn't find segas number besides their uber expensive I one finally worked it out trough trial and error. cant believe they stuffed up the printing on something so important

i got it working
but its dang annoying you only can have 20 characters for your name
like me most clannies would have the same problem
i hope sega/gamespy give us more characterspace
