Overwise, really great job: nice textures, good details and again amaizing reflections

    Very nice all of them.
Do you think it would be possible to port the arrow death animation to M2TW?
    Preferably without the back stepping.

It's not possible unfortunately, firstly the size of the skeletons would be different, If I were to I'd have to do the animation again with a skeleton from the game. I wasn't even sure you could edit the animations for any of the total war games? I just assumed they were "locked".

I too prefer this animation, its my latest one...

Oh I am I've been in it since September, I'm doing a course in Computer Animation so I'm doing CG work all the time, but they aren't at a good stage to show yet, so that's why Ive been quiet, plus I normally post regularly at dedicated sites like artstation, 3DTotal, polycount, 11SecondClub etc

Overall it's not bad, though I would expect a 13th century sword to have been built with a fuller.

Yeah I guess I overlooked that, I'll most likely redo it but after all my uni deadlines

Thanks guys, I appreciate your comments.

When you do you might want to consider some more "consistency" with regard to the directionality of the light source:
The reflections on the grip, pommel and crossguard bevel (on the side of the grip) suggest that the light source is "below" the bottom end of the image.
The reflections on the blade, however, suggest a different location of the light source.
For most people it isn't a problem but it did catch my eye.

A very brief description of the production process.
    - I used Maya to create my base low poly mesh,
    - Exported out and into Zbrush for my high poly process
    - Exported out of Zbrush into Substance Painter to create the textures
    - Imported into Maya to set up the scene, rigged the fish to achieve its pose and implemented lights to then render with Arnold.

Some of the referenced images I used during the production.

I like the folds on the fins. Really nice made.
I guess that the head has been left that way on purpose
I don't know Substance Painter but it seems to be a good one. That's where you can see the difference between "basic" softwares" and "pro" or "semi-pro" one.
