Lookin for a non-ctd mod

Hi, I'm looking for a mod that doesn't ctd. So far I've tried RTR, EB, CTW, The Crusades, and NTW2 (which may run fine but with no campaign it got uninstalled quick).
Are there any stable mods anywhere or do I have to play vanilla?

I've uninstalled and re-installed RTW so many times this last week that it's driving me crazy.

RTR is the most stable among those you played. Chivalry is getting more and more stable but not CTD-less. Yet if you don't mind sticking with the RTW period and want something different from RTR there are Terrae Expugnandae and DarthMod which may prove challenging.

No Mod is free of CTD's because RTW vanilla isn't free of them. Terra. Ex. by Lusted is about as good as you can get for a 'Vanilla like' mod that's way beyond vanilla. Be sure to set 'AUTOSAVE=FALSE' in 'preferences.txt' and you'll have very few problems.

there are quite a few i've had no problems with. rtr, spqr, darthmod, extended greek mod all come to mind, but there are many more.

none of these are completely bug free of course, but pretty close.

I couldn't agree less. I am a long term vanilla player and I do not normally have CTD's. I have a very low tolerance for CTD's. If you are the same then I would suggest that you pick your mods carefully.

Take Corsair Invasion for a spin - I have personally never had a CTD when playing it.

I have an extremely low tolorance to CTD's as well Nebuchadnezzar.
There's nothing that makes me feel like putting my fist through my monitor more than to invest hours of campaign gameplay only to have it ctd..
I used to force myself to overlook it and would begin anew, but anymore, one ctd and I uninstall.
