    Edit: One more thing, how did you prevent them from getting super shiny. All their white clothes now look like aluminum foil...

    white seems to be always problematic, even if the normals are right. make sure everything non-metal is black on the normal's alpha channel, and make the white on the texture less pristine, ie a bit yellowish.

    I dont know nothing about skining or modelling. HxM u say is easier with GIMP? (may i will try to learn a bit)

    For mapping i use photosop cs4. (and other programs, but the important thing is i understood u said "gimp easier than pthotosop for skining", right?)

    Photoshop is definitely easier for skinning, everything is more refined. It might take some getting used to, but when you know it, it's much better.

    Sure, Photoshop's better, but GIMP is free XD. Plus, having everything windowed is really nice for modding as you can multi-task better.

    I'm using GIMP. I found a blank metal shield picture. I then erased the center, leaving the outer ring. Then I copy/pasted the symbols I had made into the center. Finally, I took a 50% transparency of the original shield, and overplayed that to make it look cool. If you want, I could put together a more detailed tutorial in the mod workshop?

    Thanks Admiral , it would be great if you could make that tutorial when you have time. I'm learning a little bit about modding and this is one of the things I would like to learn.

    I know how to map, how to create traits, ancs, buildings, change recuitment and bulidng issues... But i know hardly nothing about 2d and 3d things. So if u create any kind of tutorial it would be great ^^.

    I read u were going to use the Essos TW units. One thing i really want to learn is how to take one mod units and move them to my own mod, giving them to the factions i wish. Could u explain me how to do that or give any tutorial?

    There should be plenty of tutorials about adding units to mods in the M2TW modding workshop, I doubt there's any need to make new ones

    Honestly theres so many good ones out there, I'd say just Google it . I'll be super busy for the next week (finals) so I probably won't be able to work on this or a tutorial, sorry .

    I've pretty much stopped work on this to do AOPK 2.0. I'll probably resume after we've got a good look at the Battle of Fire in Book 6.

    I never integrated them into the mod, units is not where my expertice lies.. however they look pretty damn exotic from what I could tell by the skins
