So, the Insulae Occidentalis Province will be formed by Corsica, Sardinia and the Balearic Islands. And same with orientalis: Crete, Cyprus and Rhodes. It will be a little weird : S
All west seems owned by Ghassavnids I hope the Sasanian can centralize the satrapies, is weird that you have to declare war to do that or nothing. (Even if they have modifiers to gain advantage from satrapies instead of direct conquest.)
Hispania gains 5 cities, the British Islands 3. Gallia, Italy and the Arabian peninsula* gain 1. Anatolia remains the same. West Africa gains 2 more cities, east Africa loose 2. Greece has 2 less cities.
Cities from Rome II > to Attila
Hispania: from 11 cities > to 16 [from 4 capital cities (walls) > to 5)]
British Islands: 6 > 9 [2 > 3]
Gallia: 10 > 11 [4 > 4]
Italy (counting sicily, not counting Corsica and Sardinia): 11 > 12 [3 > 4]
Arabian Peninsula + Nabatea/Palestina: 10 > 9 [3 > 3]
West Africa: 10 > 12 [3 > 4]
East Africa (Libya, Aegyptus, Aethipoia): 11 > 9 [3 > 3]
Anatolia: 12 > 12 [4 > 4]
Greece: 5 > 3 [2 > 1]

So many Empty spots/lands/regions for just 1 more Faction on the map.....
More Info Why CA should add the Bulgarians(Bulgars) as a horde starting Faction as a FLC or DLC in the link:
http://forums.totalwar.com/showthrea...s-a-FLC-or-DLC
http://www.bulgaria-embassy.org/Hist...lgaria.htm#THE BULGARIANS
This is on the Website of the Republic of Bulgaria's Embassy in Washington
it will be Stupid martching 5 turns with your army just north of the Caucasus mountains without seeing a Faction in this part of the map.The Bulgars can Fit in that Place perfectly on the Campaign map.CA pls Think on this before the game comes out.
So Guys,
this is my Mod request for Adding at least 8+ Overlooked Factions By CA when making Attila TW, starting in Horde mode.I already started a Thread proposal about it ,but I wanna promote it here also.Im not a modder but its a Fresh Idea for a Future Horde factions Mod that Adds Historical as possible factions into the Game.
again....CA were reading the history books again with only 1 eye when making the game..... There are a lot of factions that dont have to be in the game like the vikings and the maguars, and factions like the White Huns from Afganistan that attacked the Sassanids in Baktria the same time the Huns attacked the Romans,The Bulgarians(Bulgars) just north of the Caucasus Mountains, who were allies just like the Ostrogoths,Gepids,Alans to the Huns, and So on and so on arent..in the game....The Frissi also in the west are missing,The Red and White huns also.
I woud love to see this Idea to take place in the Future from historical and gameplay reasons for filling the empty Areas on the Attila TW's Campaign map for a better Gameplay purposes. If this Modding Idea is started it will be Game Changer.Im just sharing Ideas
A - the Avars - I know that they came into Europe in the 6th Century. They can Fill the Empty places in the eastern Steppes for gameplay purposes.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurasian_Avars
B - Still empty area.Cant think of an historical tribe in that Area.
The Bulgars just north of the Caucasus Mountains - they were there Historically as earlier the 2nd-3rd centuries.Totaly Overlooked Faction By CA.

http://www.bulgaria-embassy.org/hist...m#INTRODUCTION
C - The Khazares - I know that they came into Europe in the 6th Century. They can Fill the Empty places in the eastern Steppes for gameplay purposes.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khazars
D - The Hephthalites -also known as the White Huns - they came into the Baktrian land in the early 5th Century and harassed the Sassanids for a long time .They will make the early sassanid Campaigns interesting the for gameplay purposes on their Eastern Bourders.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hephthalite_Empire
E - The Kidarites - also known as the Red Huns - they came into the Eastern Baktrian land in the early 5th Century and harassed the Sassanids,Hephthalites for a long time .They will make the early sassanid Campaigns interesting the for gameplay purposes on their Eastern Bourders.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kidarites
F - The Estoni - The Proto-Estonians - they can fill the Empty northen region in the Baltics.
G - 1 of The Gaels/Scotti tribes in Western Ireland.
More Factions may be added to the list soon.
God, I can't stand how the eastern side of the map is abruptly cut off like that. Couldn't CA have just planted the same Rome2 provinces over there?
Playing as Persia is going to be a bit dull without the White Huns harassing you.![]()

Yeah, most of those Satrapies to the far east should not exist, it can cause problems very early in game for the Sassanids. Similar to what happened to the Seleuicids in Rome II. Atropatene and the Afrighids are understandable though.
I concur. It would make far more sense to have the Bulgars in the place that the Magyars occupy on the campaign map. The best guess would place 4th-5th century Magyars far beyond the northern parts of the forest steppe slightly east of the Ural Mountains (I.E. just off the campaign map) In any regard, the Magyar migration to Pannonia/Transylvania was a very slow one, and they did not reach the Carpathian regions until the ninth century. The Bulgars were one of the main groups that occupied the steppes after the Huns disappeared from history. There is even speculation in academia that the Khans of Old Great Bulgaria were descended from/related to the Hunnic royal line.
In any regard, I am most curious to see if the Sclavenii, and Antes will follow their historical migration paths to the Danube region once the Huns and Germanic tribes head west. It is a pity that the Bulgars will not be involved.
This is a disaster in the making. Instead of the ERE being locked in a titantic struggle against the Sassanids, they will be forced to deal with Makran and its full stacks of "Eastern Spearmen."

I gotta say that the eastern edges of the map look very sparse.

Maybe the pictures in the right corner out of the map means "more nomands can arrive"
The ERE seems to be difficult.
