Amazing work! The palace in Antioch also represents the citadel? Cities founded by Seleukid kings had citadels for royal garrisons.

Exactly. It's actually one of the old RTW 'execution squares' that I put to another better use and re-textured. It makes a better fort than what it was.

Thanks your answer. I wouldn´t guess that the RTW´s execution squares were base for this amazing work.

Well you know dvk that the Seleucids are my favourite faction, so showing Antiocheia makes me excited to see what else you can do (Seleucia on Tigris next ... ).

I know. I have had difficulty, however, finding much on Seleucia in terms of the layout of the city. Any thoughts or info would help.

DVK, I have been away for a while. Coming back after waning interest in RII. Just looking at these pictures reminded me of how much enjoyment and immersion RSII has. Downloading again. Looking forward to more updates!

This is why RS2 is so totally superior to any of CA's recent work.

Just finished Jerusalem, for now. Here is a view of David's Tomb:

A general view of the city, with both Jewish and Greek influences, as well as an older inner wall:

More or less same view from other side:

And last, the temple of Jerusalem:

I am not at all happy with this depiction of the Temple, but there is just nothing in RTW I could find that would build this odd building. I may find something, but for now, I just made one up. This was a fairly 'plain' city in the time before Christ, so it pretty much looks plain and kinda rugged. Looks pretty cool, however. City sits on a plateau overlooking the Dead Sea to the east.

Moving on to Seleucia now to build the Citadel!

Another superb looking settlement, one question dvk, hows about pathfinding for units in the custom settlements, do they all reach the plaza? Does it work well? in m2tw units tend to get stuck somewhere if the layout isnt planned and tested well enough...
